Mobile Phone Users Secretly Monitored

After the output of Apple's iPhone is rumored to secretly record information on location of the user, the action was also carried out also by other mobile phone with Google's Android operating system.

As stated from the results of studies of security analyst Samy Kamkar. In the report mentioned that the iPhone and Android phones are routinely send data to Apple and Google. This data is then used for databases that assist them in making a location-based services market.

Reported by the Wall Street Journal and quoted on Monday (4/25/2011), Kamkar using HTC Android phone in his study, explained that the phone sends the information several times each hour after collecting user data every few seconds.

Neither Google nor Apple have refused to comment on this. The report also mentioned that the iPhone and Android phones to send information about the wireless Internet network in a region.

While the iPhone, according to analysis Kamkar, transmit data about the user's location and Wifi network it uses for the company Steve Jobs is every 12 hours.
